Tabbed Coin Cell Batteries

Jauch Quartz offers a line of tabbed coin cell Lithium batteries available in different versions which differ in terms of cathode, electrolyte, and separator. They are available in different designs and sizes, as well as boasting high voltage, high capacity, a wide temperature range, and long shelf life (due to low self-discharge) making them ideal for a wide range of applications.

Lithium is an ideal (negative) electrode material since it has the lowest potential of all chemical elements and therefore the highest possible cell voltage. Lithium manganese dioxide (Li/MnO₂) batteries with a voltage of 3 V are mainly used in small electronic devices and as a backup battery for motherboards. The advantage over lithium batteries with a liquid cathode is the lower passivation of the anode, which helps avoid voltage drops at the beginning of the load (voltage delay).
