Phoenix Contact switches and panels are ideal for Ethernet communication
FL SWITCH 1000 and 1100 series unmanaged switches from Phoenix Contact impress with a compact design, variable number of ports, and variants with transmission speeds in the gigabit range or extended temperature range. With the help of the mounting accessories, users can also mount the unmanaged switches flat in the control cabinet or on the wall.
Patch panels serve as interface modules between the field and control cabinet cabling. They provide a range of benefits, including a clear demarcation point between panel builders and electricians, time savings, and a cleaner cabinet. Phoenix Contact patch panels offer RJ45, IDC, screw, and push-in connection styles. There are also versions with integrated surge protection and shield current monitoring. Additionally, Phoenix Contact patch panels are complemented by Power over Ethernet injectors, which can supply remote Ethernet devices with data and power via the same cable.
New patch panels offer extended approvals with the addition of IECEx. With three levels of patch panels, Phoenix Contact has options for a wide range of applications.
- Standard line – These are entry-level patch panels. Suitable for many applications, they feature multiple connection technologies and are engineered to withstand industrial applications
- "-E" Line – These patch panels feature extended approvals for harsh applications. With CID2, ATEX, IECEx, and DNV, these patch panels are suitable for hazardous locations and shipbuilding applications
- "-F" Line – Expanding the patch panel offering even further, these patch panels add integrated surge protection and shield current detection. They also come with CID2, ATEX, and DNV approvals
