Automatic Liquid Dispenser Reference Design

Renesas' quick solutions feature a reference design for an automatic liquid dispenser to dispense liquids such as hand sanitizers, shampoos, soaps, and hand lotions hands-free. To minimize waste, the dispenser only distributes a set amount of liquid per motion activation. The automatic liquid dispenser utilizes the RL78/G1F low pi and internally configurable MCU, achieving low-power consumption and a fast wake-up time of 4 μs. With the ISL94203 low-dropout high-performance linear regulator, users can extend the battery life while supporting a wide input voltage range of 2.3 V to 6.5 V.
