NorComp's 580/581 Series MICRO-D machined connectors are 1/3 the size of standard D-sub connectors and feature solid-pin machined contacts for high reliability in 9-, 15-, and 25-position configurations. NorComp's 580 and 581 Series MICRO-D machined connectors deliver a compact, space-saving solution for high-reliability applications. At 1/3 the size of a standard D-sub, these connectors feature solid pin machined contacts, a metal-to-metal interface for shielding and mechanical strength, and a 2 A contact rating at 60 VAC. Available in 9, 15, and 25 positions with cable mount, vertical, and right-angle solder terminations, they serve as a commercial MILSPEC alternative. Operating range: −40 to +125°C. Die cast backshells are also available. Ideal for industrial robotics, test and measurement, laboratory meteorology, satellite base stations, and hand-held portable devices.
