The LS1088A is a 64-bit System on Chip (SoC) that integrates eight A53 cores, clocking at 1.6 GHz. The LS1088A is suited for a range of applications that require high CPU performance, advanced packet processing and virtualization capabilities, and high-speed interfaces like PCIe Gen3 controllers and 2 x 10 GbE. The application processor is part of the Layerscape portfolio that scales from a single 64 b A53 core all the way up to sixteen A72 cores.
